* = AMA District 14 Points Paying Class

For youth classes, your age on January 1 applies for the whole year. For example, a 16 year old who turns 17 on March 15 can still race the 125 12-16 class for the entire season (because he was 16 on January 1).

For vet classes, your age on race day applies. You can ride a class as soon as you become eligible, but not before.

Minor Information

Any person under the age of 18 needs a parent or guardian to sign them up to race/practice.  We need them to fill out a minor release form and a liability release.  If your parent or guardian cannot come with you, then you must bring a notarized letter that should say:

My son/daughter Aaron Smith has permission to ride motocross at Grattan Raceway Park on (date) or (dates - if 2 day event).  In addition I give permission to John Doe to sign all liability, release and registration forms at the track and to give consent for medical treatment of Aaron Smith if needed.

_____________________Parent or Guardian Signature

_____________________Notary Public Signature                    Notary Seal

_____________________Date

In the above example John Doe would have to be a person over 18 years of age and be at the track with the minor participant for the entire day.  You should always have 2 copies of this in case of injury. One for the track and one for the hospital.  We need the original copies of this document for every different event. (One will not work for the entire season).
